NHS Royal Blackburn Hospital - Value circa £20k

Although a relatively small project it underlined the need for collaborative working since we were working with the Estates and Facilities Department the Hospital maintenance staff plumbers and electricians.  The work involved craning and placing 5 porta cabins for Doctors and Nurses changing rooms and showers on concrete bases with all the electrical wires and ducting water supplies and drainage pipes in place for a specific arrival dates.  The project went perfectly to plan.

HM Prison Service

The working in Prisons is a good example of collaborative working in that the workforce having to be vetted initially to gain access. The liaison with the Prison management and staff and liaison with other trades and suppliers to ensure the correct arrival and departure times, the tool and material counts on entry and exit, working times and prisoner movement times. Meetings held for programming of work time scales, organisation of escorts and the logistics of material delivery.
